Typical installation:
SEA WATER TREATMENT AND SOFTENING EQUIPMENT
Application: Filtration and softening of water for ultra-clean high-pressure pumping units.
Benefits: Process optimization, reduced component wear, and increased cleaning action.
The integrated softeners are devices for treating process water, designed for high-pressure equipment, capable of removing water hardness.
The softeners use ion-exchange resins. These tiny synthetic beads have the property of retaining calcium and magnesium ions from the water by exchanging them with sodium ions, which the resins are charged with. The result of this exchange is the reduction of hardness in the treated water.
The softeners come complete with an adjustable proportional mixing valve to achieve the final hardness required for the specific high-pressure system usage.
Essentially composed of:
Automatic control head made of reinforced plastic material with hydraulic operation, also functional at low pressures, with an integrated bypass allowing water flow during regeneration (with the possibility of exclusion).
Softeners column made of composite material with PE liner coated with fiberglass and epoxy resin; resistant to high pressures; the column contains the ion-exchange resins.
Salt tank container made of polyethylene with volumetric float and rigid separator for brine preparation.
Adjustable proportional mixer to set the final water quality to be used.
