WATER FLAME TREATMENT AUTOMATED SYSTEMS

Processing applicable even on very thin thicknesses (5/10 mm depending on the material’s compactness), since the structure of the treated material does not undergo mechanical or thermal stress.

The color is not altered as in traditional flame treatment with its yellowing phenomena.

The rough effect is very natural, homogeneous, and adjustable.

No pollutants are released.

The non-use of abrasives in water increases the operational life of the system.

In addition to granites and silicates in general, the system works excellently, when properly set, on: agglomerates, sedimentary stones, crystalline marbles, where it reveals the flat faces of calcite crystals, creating a particular play of reflections.

Water flame treatment is a type of surface treatment that exclusively uses high-pressure water (from 800 bar up to 2500 bar) without abrasives on natural stones and aggregated materials in general.

The high-pressure water jet directed at the surface forms cavities of varying depths, preferentially disintegrating the less resistant particles or crystals at their joint points, accentuating the natural color intensity and the material’s granular structure.

The degree of roughness obtainable largely depends on the material’s structure/composition, the pressure, rotation speed, number of nozzles, their angle, and the distance from the surface.

Different surface finishes can therefore be achieved by adjusting the system parameters.

The system is complete and turnkey, including everything needed for a fully automated treatment (High-pressure HPE unit, filtration and pre-filtration systems, HP flexible piping, special fittings, rollers, rotating tools, and a sound-absorbing cabin).

A PC-PLC can be applied to the system for control: all functions are constantly monitored with visualization and diagnostics. The PC can also be used to store optimal working parameters based on the material type to be treated.

As needed, a periodic maintenance service (SAIT MPR) is also offered, with itemized checks of all system components. Advantages compared to other types of surface finishing.
