ROTO-CLEAN R-BP-S2x Self-Cleaning Rotary Filters
The rotary filters are self-cleaning mesh filters, suitable for the treatment of fluids containing suspended solids, even of colloidal nature.
The special aspirating shoes ensure effective cleaning of the filter element with low water consumption and without interrupting the flow.
Rotary filters are distinguished from other filters because they are made with a stainless steel body and cleaning group, a feature that makes them highly resistant and durable.
Depending on the plant requirements, it is possible to choose from 3 different construction configurations: Y, L, O.
The internal cartridge is available with a polyester (PES) filter fabric enclosed in a “sandwich” between two stainless steel AISI 316 mesh supports, or completely in AISI 316 stainless steel in the triple-layer REPS version; these solutions offer a filtration range from 810 to 25 μm.
The filters are supplied ready to use, complete with valves, pressure gauges, and electronic controller.
FILTRATION
The water to be treated feeds the filter via the connection (IN), passes through the filter element (1) which retains the suspended solids inside, and flows out filtered through the exit (OUT).
CLEANING
Cleaning of the filter element can be carried out at preset time intervals or when the progressive accumulation of suspended solids causes an excessive pressure differential (0.8 bar) between the inlet and outlet of the filter.
During this phase, the discharge valve (DRAIN) opens, triggering the aspiration of the shoes (2), which are simultaneously set into rotation.
The perfect adhesion of the aspirating shoes to the inner surface of the filter cartridge ensures complete aspiration of the solids retained by the filter, expelling them outside.
